We all remember the style of the preppy. Its a classic. It has not ever fully gone away but it has taken a backseat to other fashion trends over the years. However, this year sees the resurgence of a trend that first started in the 20s and gain major fashion traction in the late 50s early 60s. This look brings to mind hops, burger bars, drive in movies, pony tails, poodle skirts, cardigans and oxfords. It was a time where men dressed in non-sagging jeans, v-neck sweaters, khaki pants and were willing to put their best foot forward or what we call 'metro' today. In fact, 'the prep' was not only a fashion trend it was also a dance in the mid-eighties.
