Makeup Trends--Prom Night/Quinciera

Good evening Chicadees,

As promised I am back with some looks for your special night. Prom and your Quincieras are very special nights. For those who do not live in America or do not know what a quinciera is, prom is the biggest dance of a girl's high school life it is the senior dance, the goodbye to life as a child and hello adulthood and college. A quinciera is a latin girl's sweet 15 coming out ball for friends and family and historically it was the night she was sold to the highest bidder--not literally--but the family made a deal with best bachelor in the town and usually he was the richest or the closest to it.

These dances are a lot like walking the red carpet on Oscar night. And being that they are similar to Oscar night, what is the focus of the night besides your lovely selves? The Dress, not the makeup.  So I have decided to create looks that are very in the now but that will not take away from your dazzling the crowd with your gorgeous dresses. These looks are not just for any particular skin tone, they can be used by all skin tones from golden to warm and from fair to deep dark. Tweak the colors to benefit whatever skin tone you have and don't hesitate to use products you are familiar with. Feel free to send pictures of your night I will post them.
