Off the Runway 2011-- Denim and Chambray

Denim and Chambray--the dressy kind--is making a huge come back. In recent years, denim has been seen as only a casual form of dress and Chambray--the softer cotton version--has been almost absent from the scene.

But this Spring/Summer not only has denim gone cocktail wear  but Chambray is making a huge come back. Another trend with this family of fashion is mixing denim--colors and patterns.  As well as mixing stripes and florals. The mixing of the stripes and florals is very French to me. So have fun with it and don't hesitate to mix it up--literally.
