Chief Designer Stefano Pilati, continues to keep the House of YSL on top. With his innovative, fashion forward, and walking the edge collection, Yves vision lives on years after his death and this A/W 2012 season is no different.
Stefano, wowed us at Paris fashion week with his visually stunning, sensually toughed collection that was a throwback to the femme fatale 40s and Mad Max 80s. Belted silhouettes, "chainmaille" and supple leather fabrics successfully married the tough and the soft.
My favorite look and the one on everyone's lips was the "White" Dominatrix. This look marks a distinctive trend for this fall; silver, white and mirrored fabrics and textures. However, why should you have to wait till Fall to wear it?
Here's how you can steal the style now..
Make the look your own by adding simple touches to each piece like the letterman's brooch by Antiquities Couture or buy an actual letterman's patch and sew it on one of the breast pocket for a 1940s/50s feel. And replace the original buttons on your blazer with gold anchor buttons to give it a vintage and high-quality appearance.
Here are a few more looks from the runway show.
