In the wake of me celebrating my brand new logo, courtesy of
Ivue Media Designs, who did a fabulous job bringing my vision to life in graphic art. We are also working on some other projects together--she got commissioned again-- as well. So Psyched! Check it out!
The other thing I am psyched about are the photos from the Met Gala 2012. The stars aligned and they all converged in NYC for this annual event. Bedecked in sparkling jewels and fabulous frocks, none went unnoticed and many made statements, with their outfits and most importantly with their makeup.
One of my fave trends last night was the wine and chocolate stained lips sported by many starlets of every hue. This fabulous trend is a throwback to the late roaring 20s and 30s it all but screams rebel, charm and elegance. Think about it, dark lips in --gasp--the spring and summer? I was loving every minute of it! This great somewhat moody color, sometimes plummy, sometimes chocolate-ty and oft times fabulous is the perfect antagonist to the happy bright colors this summer.
