Continuing in the vein of NYC, this beautiful color of the week represents that concrete metropolis that we call The Big Apple. The buildings glimmer like metallic beacons seducing you to their doors. The Hudson is a gray swirl of water creating an illusion of isolation. The silvertone crisscrossing of highways and bridges solidify the idea of exclusivity.
No matter what anyone says about New York, its energy is vibrant and seductive just like the silver color in these nail lacquers that represent the color of the week.

My all time favorite New York Designer is Ralph Lauren. His
Fall 2006 RTW collection was my favorite of all time. He took the 1920s and 30s and recreated them into chicness. In fact he is my favorite American Designer outside of Tom Ford. Those two men know how to dress women. Their collections are always classic and chic.
Another collection of Ralph Lauren's that I absolutely loved was his Home Collection La Plage Riviera. The Blues, whites and yellows were reminiscent of the French Riviera and Provence. They are so soothing and welcoming. Whatever the case, Ralph will always be one of my favorite designers the world over.
