Karlie Kloss + Warby Parker = Fantastic Philanthropy
Looks like the fashion darling and supermodel Karlie Kloss is at it again. This time in a fashionable philanthropic collaboration with glasses and sunglasses brand Warby Parker. Today, Karlie and Warby are launching their capsule collection in which part of the sell will be donated to the Edible Schoolyard NYC organization. Edible Schoolyard is an organization that sets up gardens and kitchens in low-income schools in NYC and teaches the children about growing food, how to cook, and the health benefits of eating healthy.
Now that you know those deets let’s discuss the fabulousness that are these sunglasses. Karlie’s capsule collection come in three frames:
Clara, a modern throwback to the sixties frames,
Julia, a hipper more feminine twist to the aviator sunglasses of the 80’s,
and Marple, which are a 21st century answer to the classic 50’s frames.
The frames come in silver or gold tone and will cost you a cool $145. Not bad for fashion that does good. I am looking forward to my first pair. Goddess knows I need a new swanky set.
